A quick pre-milestone check-in

There's a lot brewing at You, Me and An Album HQ. I'm happy to report that the show's 250th episode has been recorded. (This excludes the trailer as well as the Patreon episodes that I haven't published on the main feed yet.) No. 250 is a unique episode, too. No guest has ever picked a freshly-released album before, but Jorina Stamm of the Swiss indie-pop band Soft Loft changed all that. Jorina and I talked about Phoebe Bridgers' Lost Weekend, which has been out for just over a month now. If all goes according to plan, you'll get to hear our conversation next Thursday.

A few things have not gone as planned lately, so I've had to juggle the publishing schedule a bit. Normally, I'd be posting a new episode today, but Ep 249 will not be out until tomorrow at the earliest, and quite likely, it won't be out until Saturday.

I'll be rolling out a few new things to coincide with Ep 250, so you'll be seeing those soon. And I can't wait to reveal the guest scheduled for Ep 251, but I'll hold off until that one is recorded next week.

So be on the lookout for Ep 249 with Americana singer/songwriter Michael Rudd—and our chat about Townes Van Zandt's self-titled album—within the next couple of days.
